During The Green Week school program, the students from the “Jean Bart” Theoretical High School experienced a deeper relationship with the environment through a series of interactive activities organized by GeoEcoMar in partnership with the Cu Drag from Sulina Association.
On March 30, 2026, the interactive workshop “Love the Ocean: River meets Sea” organized at the “Jean Bart” Theoretical High School offered participants an integrated perspective on the connection between the Danube, the Danube Delta and the Black Sea. The activities continued the next day with a practical component, which took place outside the classrooms – the students took on the role of researchers. They analysed th physicochemical parameters of the Danube water (pH, conductivity, temperature, transparency), discovered species and elements characteristic of marine biodiversity and understood, through concrete examples, the impact of pollution on the entire river-delta-sea system.
