GIS, Database, Cartography Team

The GIS, Databases and Cartography team carries out database collection, storage and programming activities for the data collections resulted after the completion of the research projects GeoEcoMar is involved in. GIS maps, offline (desktop) and web applications (project websites, access interfaces, query and database manipulation) are made. The team also developed the GeoEcoMar database, which is in a permanent process of developing and adding functionality.
The software tools used are: C# (for desktop application development); PHP, Javascript, HTML5 (for web application development); MySql, Postgresql (for database).
The team has been involved in many national and European research projects.
