GeoEcoMar attends ASTROFEST, the largest festival of astronomy and fun science, organized by the Journal of Science & Technology and the Science & Technology Association in partnership with the District 6 City Hall.
The event, which starts tonight at 6 p.m., will last for two days and will take place in the Crângasi Park in Bucharest.
The ASTROFEST 2026 program is divided into three sections: interactive stands, with workshops dedicated to children; the ASTROFEST 2026 stage and the film festival.
The 2026 edition presents the largest telescopes in the country, conferences held by specialists, robots, drones, interactive experiments, thematic exhibitions, astronomical observations, the European Astrophotography Salon and the Science & SF & Animation Film Festival.
The guest of honor of this edition is Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, the only Romanian cosmonaut, who this year marks 45 years since his historic space flight, a landmark moment for Romanian space research and exploration.
