On 27 March, the National Institute of Marine Geology and Geo-Ecology (GeoEcoMar) will present in the European Parliament the results of one of the largest research projects coordinated by a Romanian institution – DOORS (Developing Optimal and Open Research Support for the Black Sea). DOORS is one of the largest research and innovation projects ever coordinated by a Romanian institution and was funded by the Horizon 2020 programme. The project had a budget of 9 million euros and was carried out by a consortium of 35 partners – universities, research institutes and companies from 16 countries -, including the relevant European Research Infrastructure Consortia (ERICs).
