By participating on March 30 2026 in the interactive workshop ”Love de Ocean: River meets Sea”, the students from the “Jean Bart” Theoretical High School in Sulina had the opportunity to discover the Danube Delta from a new perspective. The event was organized by INCD GeoEcoMar in partnership with the “Cu Drag din Sulina” Association, as part of the Green Week program, according to the “Cu Drag din Sulina” Association.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the complex ecosystem of the Danube Delta, where the river meets the Black Sea. Through interactive activities and dialogues with the researchers, the participants explored the links between water, biodiversity and the impact of human actions on the environment, developing a more conscious and responsible perspective on nature.
