Acronym: EMODnet
In the framework of the Phase 3 extension (2019-2021), the EUSeaMap platform will be updated and transposed into new classifications, namely EUNIS 2019, HELCOM HUB (in the Baltic Sea), and the revised classification of Mediterranean habitat types will be also implemented. The map collection will be expanded and used to produce several new composite data products. The first phase of transposition of EUNIS 2007 habitat maps into EUNIS 2019 will also be completed.
- Updating and transposing the EUSeaMap platform into new classifications – EUNIS 2019, HELCOM HUB (in the Baltic Sea);
- Revised classification of Mediterranean habitat types;
- Expanding the map collection and using it to produce several new composite data products;
- Completing the first phase of transposing EUNIS 2007 habitat maps into EUNIS 2019.
