Acronim: ENVRI-FAIR
ENVRI-FAIR represents the link between the Environmental Research Infrastructures (ENVRI) cluster and the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
- The overall objective is that, at the end of the project, all participating research infrastructures will build a set of FAIR data services that will increase the efficiency and productivity of researchers, support innovation by enabling data- and knowledge-based decisions, and connect the ENVRI community to EOSC.
- Achieving well-defined community policies and standards at all stages of the data lifecycle, aligned with the broader European policies as well as the international developments;
- The achievement by each participating research infrastructure of sustainable, transparent and verifiable data services for each stage of the data lifecycle, in accordance with the FAIR principles;
- Implementation of prototypes for testing pre-production services by each research infrastructure; independent creation by each research infrastructure of the catalog of prepared services, depending on the degree of maturity reached by each of the research infrastructures involved;
- Development of the complete set of services and thematic data tools provided by ENVRI Cluster to be displayed in the EOSC service catalogue through the EOSC Hub.
