The 1st DOORS Black Sea Project Stakeholder Conference will take place at the “Grand Hotel Bucharest” on 23-24 April 2024. This event will feature inspiring high-level panels, interactive co-design workshops, and a Black Sea research and innovation showcase.
The conference will offer a unique forum to exchange views on the challenges and opportunities in the sustainable blue economy sectors, the development of the Digital Twin Ocean, training and capacity enhancement in the Black Sea, Ocean Literacy, and science-policy interface.
At the conference the participants will have a chance to contribute to the DOORS Black Sea project results and co-design the project’s lasting legacy. The event will be highly interactive and involve all Black Sea countries participating in DOORS Black Sea, as well as a range of key regional, European, and international initiatives. DOORS Black Sea stands for “Developing Optimal and Open Research Support for the Black Sea”, which is a Project funded by DG Research and Innovation, European Commission. Its aim is to implement the Black Sea Science and Innovation Agenda.
