CESP: Development of the Support Center for the initiation and implementation of European and International R&D Projects within INCD GeoEcoMar
Acronim: CESP
The project aimed to increase the capacity of GeoEcoMar to participate in the European Union’s Research Framework Programmes (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe) by setting up a support structure for researchers called “The Support Center for European and International R&D Projects”, without legal personality within the GeoEcoMar’s Project Management and Marketing Office.
- Creating a complex IT system for the management and reporting of human, material and financial resources (IT platform for project management) used by the institute in the European-funded projects, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe in particular;
- Training the staff to manage Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects.
- Organizing workshops or participating in such events organised in the European Union for preparing and writing project proposals for the H2020 or Horizon Europe calls, launched by the EU Commission – DG Research & Innovation;
- Management of the projects implemented within GeoEcoMar, using the new developed tools, know how, procedures and methodologies gained in the events attended.
