EMSO-Link: Implementation of the Strategy to Ensure the EMSO ERIC’s Long-term Sustainability
Acronim: EMSO-Link
EMSO-Link project aimed to accelerate and establish EMSO ERIC governance rules and procedures and facilitate the coordination of the construction, operation, expansion and maintenance of the EMSO ERIC infrastructure.

Strengthening and expanding EMSO ERIC membership to optimize and include all European marine technology and research institutions;
- Switching to coordinated operations of infrastructure nodes, interoperability and standardisation, as well as increasing the capacity and synchronising the regional node funding;
- Stimulating the stakeholders (marine operators, industry, academia, universities and marine experts) by actively engaging in a range of awareness-raising campaigns;
- Strengthening the relations with similar initiatives and complementary research infrastructures through memoranda of understanding, also in coordination with the COOP + EC project;
- Enhancing the contribution of EMSO-ERIC to European economic growth and innovation by implementing a strong marine technology innovation platform that serves and cooperates with industry and SMEs;
