The project aimed to highlight the climatic and environmental changes that have occurred in the Carpathian-Pontic-Danubian area from 6 million years ago to the present time. The project aimed to respond to a series of problems related to the global warming.
- Paleogeographic maps, paleoclimatic modeling on various intervals, starting with the period from 6 million years ago to the present, on various regions (carpathian region, Black Sea basin);
- Correlating the paleoclimat and eustatic changes and the glacial/interglacial periods in our country with those in the rest of Europe;
